ABOUT ME

I’m a strength and conditioning specialist & qualified personal trainer based in north London. I work with a wide range of clients from performance tennis players to people who want to improve and maintain their general fitness.

I hold a BSc(Hons) degree in sport science and I’m an accredited strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA. I have an evidence based approach to my coaching which ensure my clients achieve the results they’re looking for whether it be enhanced athletic performance or weight loss.

I work from a private state of the art strength & conditioning studio in Crouch End, north London.

I work from a private state of the art strength & conditioning studio in Crouch End, north London. The studio is kitted out with the latest cutting-edge gym equipment which is sure to accelerate your progress.

Training in the private studio means you won’t have to deal with overcrowding and a cliquey culture which is typical in commercial gyms.

FAQS

  • This depends on your goals. If you want to see results quickly and obtain more gains in the long term then training 2-3x per week will accelerate your progress. However, if you’re on a budget, results can still be achieved with one session per week providing you’re also training on your own.

    As part of your initial free consultation we will talk through and agree a number of sessions per week which is realistic and achievable.

  • The consultation will last around 30 minutes. You get the opportunity to discuss your goals, your current and previous fitness levels, any previous or on-going health issues, your lifestyle, nutrition and to ask any further questions.

  • I work from a private strength & conditioning studio in North London.

  • Definitely not! I work with clients of all ages, abilities and weights. Your program will be designed specifically to your level.

  • Each session will start with a warm up, a mobilisation of the major joints and muscles to be used. The session will then be based around compound lifts, these are exercises which work several muscle groups simultaneously.

    These exercises will ensure that you’re exercising with maximum efficiency and getting the most value from your workouts as possible.

  • Not unless you want it to. A common fear among women is that lifting a pair of dumbbells will instantly turn them into the hulk. However, creating muscle tissue to an extent to look over-muscular or bulky is very difficult and requires a great deal of training at heavy weights so you are constantly overloading the muscles to stimulate growth.

    With a varied routine and adequate rest this is not a problem you shall need to worry about.
